A communication strategist and profiler she is also retained as a trial consultant for discovery, witness preparation, cross-examination and videotape analysis. She has been cited as an international communication expert and expert in jury selection. She was retained on Canada's most notorious confinement and murder case.
Ms. Madonik has been a charter Vice-President for the Association for Professional Training Organizations, program consultant for The Advocates' Society Institute and York University, and communication and negotiation instructor for York University, Seneca College, American Management Association International, government and industry.
Ms. Madonik's corporate successes include managing sales forces, administrative services and being general manager of three companies.
Ms. Madonik has been part-time faculty at York University and guest faculty for the Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution, the Ontario Bar Association, University of Toronto Certificate Program in Dispute Resolution, and Osgoode Hall Law School's LL.B. intensive program in criminal law and Graduate Studies LL.M. program specializing in ADR.
Ms. Madonik is a veteran professional keynote speaker and conference presenter for corporations and associations. Attendees describe her blend of humour and knowledge as "controlled dynamite" and her programs as "thought provoking and useful". She continues to deliver programs to organizations like Holiday Inns, Canadian Society of Association Executives, Ontario Nurses' Association, Ministry of Natural Resource, Ministry of the Attorney General, Atlanta Bar Association, Mediation Saskatchewan, Connecticut Bar Association, Pharmaceutical Manufacturers of Canada, and IBM. Her presentations at annual American Bar Association Dispute Resolution conferences have drawn standing-room-only audiences.
Ms. Madonik is a Board Member of the York University Dispute Resolution Advisory Board, a former Director of the ADR Institute of Ontario and associate member of the American Bar Association.
