Our senior trainer was a Charter Vice President for the Association of Private Training Organizations, program consultant for York University, and part-time faculty there. We provide customized communication consulting services and training programs. Projects range from one-on-one coaching to producing and delivering major client programs and strategies. Our clients have included government ministries like Ministry of the Environment and Ministry of Natural Resources, health care organizations like Ontario Dental Association and Glaxo Wellcome, educational institutions like Seneca College and York University, international corporations like Kraft and IBM, and professional development organizations like American Management Association and Advocates' Society Institute. In Dispute Resolution Environments -

We are neutrals. We act as mediators, resources at mediation, and dispute investigators. We have experience. We have worked in conflict management with individuals and organizations.

Our senior consultant, Barbara Madonik, has been negotiation panel Chair for the Advocates' Society and a frequent presenter and coach at the Ontario Bar Association. She has also been both a communication and negotiation instructor for American Management Association International, Seneca College, Government of Ontario, and York University. Ms. Madonik has been guest faculty at the University of Toronto's Dispute Resolution Certificate Program, and Osgoode Hall Law School's undergraduate criminal law program. She has been a guest evaluator for Ontario Centre for Advocacy Training and presenter for the Ontario Masters' Association. She has also presented for organizations like the Atlanta Bar As so cia ton and Family Mediation Association of Georgia, Mediation Saskatchewan, the Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution and to three standing-room-only audiences at successive American Bar Association conferences in Dispute Resolution.

Ms. Madonik is a Director of the ADR Institute of Ontario and associate member of the American Bar Association. She is the author of the landmark mediation book, I Hear What You Say, But What Are You Telling Me? The Strategic Use of Nonverbal Communication in Mediation. After it was published she was invited to the United Nations.

In Legal Venues -

We are strategists and profilers. We assist legal counsel inside and outside courtrooms.

In 1987 we pioneered the practical use of nonverbal communication within the Canadian legal system. We are retained by civil litigators, criminal lawyers, mediators and their clients to work with courtroom logistics, discovery, jury selection and profiles, witness evaluation and preparation, cross examination, strategic consultation and videotape analysis.

Our senior consultant was retained on Canada's high profile Bernardo double murder case, has been cited as a jury selection expert by the Professional Marketing Research Society and listed among national and international experts by Osgoode Hall Law School's Faculty of Graduate Studies. She has been called "the definitive expert in legal communication". She is a jury selection expert and guest lecturer at Osgoode Hall Law School's LL.B. Criminal Intensive Program, instructing in witness preparation and cross-examination and nonverbal communication inconsistent with oral testimony.
